Attractor Nymphs

Some of the most effective trout flies in history are Attractor Nymphs like the Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear, Prince Nymph, Copper John, and Pheasant Tail.  More recent patterns like the Psycho Prince, Lightning Bug, Twenty-Incher, and Bloody Mary certainly fall into this category as well.  These Attractor Nymphs may be so effective because of their ability to represent a number of food items at once.  Whatever we call them, they fool trout into eating them so they are great fun and mandatory additions to our fly boxes.
